SJB School Of Architecture & Planning

ENGINEERING BLOCK

SJB School of Architecture and Planning aspires to supply a pro-poor, pro- rural focus to a profession that’s otherwise seemed to be elitist and concrete. The vision of the varsity is to ‘think global and serve locally’, a practice followed by His Holiness Balagangadhranatha Swamiji all his life.
The School aspires to be a one-stop destination for courses encompassing most disciplines which will be classified as a part of the ‘Built Environment’. In its early years, two undergraduate programs- Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of designing will co-exist and complement two inseparable professions. As soon as these two primary offerings of the varsity achieve stability, the main target will shift to bringing about specialized disciplines like Urban Design, architecture, Interior Design, and Construction Management emerging because the most composite school in south India, with the aim of providing world-class planning for cities and rural areas.

To help students develop a worldwide outlook, student exchange programs are going to be initiated with leading universities from the united kingdom, USA, Australia, and much East. To bring students and professors from around the world to SJBSAP, the varsity will offer ‘Curated Architectural tours’, giving them the choice to explore Indian heritage and Architecture.

With dedicated faculty and supportive and noble management, the varsity intends to emerge as a pacesetter and hub of comprehensive education in ‘Built Environment’.
